On Thursday, January 13, 2022, the 2019/2020 Student Representative Council (SRC) led by the President, Bismark Sarfo, of the Seventh-day Adventist College of Education, Agona-Ashanti handed over one of their major projects to the college. The project is a 250,000KVA power plant to support the energy issues of the college. Due to prominent power outages that the locality of the college experiences from time to time, the SRC saw it as a need to embark on such a project.  On the occasion of the handover, the principal of the college, Dr. Peter Ofori Atakorah accepted the project on behalf of the college management who also made the realization of this project a fruitful one. The power plant he said, was one of the many projects the SRC executives brought before him, that was going to be beneficial to the college community at large and therefore, supported the student leadership on the project.
